I met Jeri Chambers while attending House of the Lord Fellowship Church in North Austin over 17 years ago when I was a UT college undergrad. A few things that stand out about Jeri are her character and authenticity. Jeri carries a gift and strength of inspiration to all those that know and love her. It is no wonder that her 14 year old teen daughter Jocelyn Chambers has achieved such high accolades. Jocelyn is also a young gifted entrepreneur and successful swimmer. I am very excited and proud for Jocelyn and her family. I look forward to enjoying the Austin Symphony Orchestra perform her score called “My Heart.” I invite anyone reading this to join me at the Long Center of Performing Arts on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 7:30pm to support Jocelyn Chambers and the Texas Young Composers. Tickets can be purchased online.
